At UPMC, we maintain an unwavering commitment to supporting our communities through many unique pathways. Our priority is not only to provide high-quality care, but to create training and job opportunities, help ensure rural communities are healthy communities, and meet our patients, members, and neighbors where they are. The December issue of First Friday highlights the stories of our people and UPMC’s dedication supporting and empowering the communities we serve, fostering connection and compassionate care, and advancing opportunities for staff who are deeply rooted in our neighborhoods.

Community at the Forefront

Through the dedication and compassion of staff, UPMC continues to make a lasting impact on individuals and communities across every region. With each story and initiative, UPMC reaffirms our commitment to care, connect, and empower those we serve.
