Colorectal cancer is now the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths, but one of the most preventable.
March is designated as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and is a time to encourage screening and early detection.
UPMC’s Cyndy Patton recently sat down with Dr. Ed Chu of the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center to discuss who should be screened and why, as well as improvements being made in the treatment of this deadly cancer.
