Opening summer 2015 in Cranberry Township, Pa., the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex will serve as a comprehensive outpatient facility for UPMC Sports Medicine and will also be the primary training center for the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins. This first-of-its-kind facility in our area will feature 185,000 square feet of total space, with 54,000 square feet dedicated to UPMC Sports Medicine’s orthopaedic, physical therapy, concussion, imaging, and sports performance services.
Watch as orthopaedic surgeon and medical director Vonda Wright, M.D., provides an update on the facility’s construction progress, and explains how athletes of all ages and skill levels will soon be able to take advantage of world-class sports medicine services in Pittsburgh’s northern suburbs.
