New Bariatric Procedure Offered at Magee to Combat Obesity

After receiving FDA approval, Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC will begin offering an intra-gastric balloon procedure to help patients combat obesity. Anita Courcoulas, M.D., explains the procedure, utilizing an ORBERA intragastric balloon. Andrew Griffin, a clinical trial participant, explains how the device worked for him.
