Flu shot myths: Busted

“I’m healthy, I don’t need the flu shot.”

“The flu shot gives you the flu.”

“It’s better to get the flu than to get the vaccine.”

 

Think again. In the 2017-2018 flu season, 48.8 million people got sick with the influenza virus, 959,000 were hospitalized and 79,400 died.
