Snowflakes Bring Smiles to Patients at Children’s Hospital

Despite facing trying times, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC patients and families couldn’t help but smile at First Niagara’s Snowflake Dance held Jan. 21. And besides dancing, patients were treated to face painting, crafts and Frozen-themed photos.
“The music is jamming and the face painting is awesome!” said 16-year-old participant Mariana Maniscalco.
Employee volunteers from First Niagara Bank helped to coordinate activities during the event.
The dance is one of many in First Niagara’s “Family Celebration Series.” A generous gift from First Niagara will fund family and patient activities throughout the year.
