Have you ever wondered what happens at the scene of a car accident? To commemorate National EMS Week, we went behind the scenes at an emergency trauma drill staged by UPMC Prehospital Care for the Mt. Lebanon Fire Department and Medical Rescue Team South Authority. The purpose of the drill was to simulate a car accident to help prepare EMS professionals for facing similar situations on the job. Using Google Glass, some of our video footage shows what it might be like to be a passenger inside a car after an accident.
